Tracy Arm
A stunning fjord within the Tongass National Forest
Exploring the two magnificent glaciers of Tracy Arm, home to a wide variety of wildlife, is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Enjoy thrilling outdoor pursuits like hiking and kayaking, and get up close and personal with natural wonders like waterfalls and icebergs. The diverse wildlife you can observe from your yacht is one of Tracy Arm's most remarkable features. The Sawyer Glacier is a must-see, stunning glacier framed by massive mountains and teeming with wildlife. The South Sawyer Glacier is another must-see because it is just as beautiful and provides a rare opportunity to see nature at work. Don't forget to check out the fjord's abundant marine life, which includes humpback whales, seals, and sea lions.

Taku Harbor
A secluded and historic site
To the east of Stephens Passage is the serene and historically significant Taku Harbor. This harbor, which was previously the site of the 19th-century trading post Fort Durham (named for the Taku people), has tales of its own. Taku Harbor, located on the island's eastern coast, is rich with indigenous history and culture and evokes images of traditional Tlingit settlements. This seaside sanctuary gained a touch of industry in 1901 with the establishment of a salmon cannery by the San Juan Fishing & Packing Company. A flamboyant trapper and gold miner named Tiger Olson made his mark against this background. Stories from Taku Harbor, Alaska, come to life against the backdrop of the state's breathtaking scenery, a fitting tribute to the town's fascinating past and present.

Pybus Bay
Called as the "Fortress of the Bears"
Pybus Bay offers an unparalleled Alaskan experience that will take your breath away. It's a photographer's paradise, with stunning views of phosphorescent algae lighting up the docks and the majestic humpback whales swimming in the tranquil waters. Keep an eye out for a wide range of wildlife, including the bald eagles, brown bears, orcas, sea otters and sea lions! In addition to salmon, rockfish, lingcod, and halibut, Pybus Bay is home to a diverse range of other fish species. Take in the sunset while relaxing and enjoying your catch, explore the scenic Pybus Bay by kayak or paddleboard, or embark on another halibut fishing expedition. This picturesque harbour also offers adrenaline seekers the chance to try their hand at water skiing or wakeboarding.

Gambier Bay
One of the best places to observe humpback whales or orcas
A yacht charter in Gambier Bay offers a chance to explore the stunning waters of Alaska while experiencing the ultimate luxury on board a private yacht. Imagine cruising through the picturesque fjords and bays surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes, abundant wildlife, and the shimmering glaciers.
