About
The Bahamas are home to thousands of islands just waiting to be discovered. You may spend a week exploring a small section of the Bahamas, like the Exumas, where cruise ships don't travel, the water is crystal blue, and your private yacht might be the only boat at the beach when it's time for a cookout. This 5-day plan visits some of the most famous sights including fun activities for vacationers of all ages. Take off your shoes and experience true barefoot luxury.

Harbour Island
Home of the world-famous pink sand beach
This tiny island, nestled in the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas, is only accessible by boat and is one of the most popular yachting spots in the Bahamas. The famous Pink Sand Beach, which is one of the most photographed in the world, is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. Pop on your snorkel and explore the island's coral reefs, colourful fish and sea turtles. For a taste of Bahamian culture, head to Dunmore Town, the island's main town, where you can find local shops, restaurants, and historical landmarks. Although only three miles long and half a mile wide, the island's buzzing streets, bougainvillea-covered hotels, Georgian architecture, and pastel boutiques make it feel much larger. Harbour Island is a hidden gem in the Bahamian tropics.

Eleuthera
Where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean
A gem in the Bahamas, known for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. With pristine pink sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, it's the perfect spot for a relaxing yacht getaway. Explore the island's unique sights, including the glass window bridge, which separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Great Bahama Bank, and the historic settlements and villages that give you a peek into the island's vibrant culture. And of course, no trip to Eleuthera would be complete without sampling some of the world-renowned pineapple, grown in abundance across the island.

Warderick Wells Cay
Located in the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park
Yachting in Warderick Wells Cay offers a truly exceptional experience in the heart of the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, a 176-square-mile protected marine sanctuary in the Bahamas. This cay is renowned for its unspoiled natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life, making it a favorite stop for eco-conscious yacht charters and adventurous cruisers alike. What makes Warderick Wells especially unique is its iconic horseshoe-shaped mooring field, a stunning sight where yachts appear to float in a perfect curve over electric-blue shallows. The area is strictly "no-take," meaning fishing and shell collecting are prohibited, which has allowed coral reefs and marine species to thrive — expect to see sea turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and schools of tropical fish gliding beneath your hull.

Shroud Cay
A maze of mangroves best explored by kayak
Shroud Cay is a small island located in the Exuma Cays chain of the Bahamas. This island has an exciting variation on offer from mangrove creeks to swamps that are uniquely crystal clear! Have a spin in what the locals call 'the washing machine', a natural phenomenon where water rushes through a narrow channel in the mangroves, creating a fast-moving current that spins boats and kayaks in a circular motion. The island is a protected area that offers breath-taking views of the local flora and fauna. Make sure you also check out the Thunderball Grotto, which is a famous underwater snorkelling destination. Drop anchor along the beach and enjoy a picnic while soaking up your stunning surroundings, or enjoy the natural beauty of the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park

Nassau
The colorful capital of the Bahamas
Known as the gateway to the tropical isles of the Bahamas, Nassau offers everything from family-friendly resorts, stunning coral reefs and striking beaches. The capital of the Bahamas is most famous for Paradise Island, a small islet attached by a bridge that houses the Atlantis Bahamas resort; which needs at least a day to explore. Start your morning with breakfast at the port's Via Caffe and then cruise the private yacht charter over to Salt Cay - a remote isle with sun-soaked shores and a few eateries. Work up an appetite for a night at the famed restaurant strip, The Fish Fry.
