Thailand Yacht Charter
From the seas to the jungles to the high mountains, Thailand does it all with a smile.
The word “Thai (ไทย)” means free, hinting at a glimpse of Thailand’s abundance of untouched natural beauty, fascinating culture, and colourful gastronomy.
Known as the “Land of Smiles,” it is one of the most visited countries in the world. Furthermore, it is the only Southeast Asian country never colonised. They take pride in their national identity as seen through their historical treasures, like Wat Arun in Bangkok, the largest solid gold statue at Wat Traimit, and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai. They also have over 30 Michelin-starred restaurants, second in Southeast Asia, proving they are a forerunner of Southeast Asian cuisine. Beyond their cultural heritage is the abundance of natural and unspoiled landscapes, making it a haven for yachting adventures.
Chartering in Thailand has become increasingly accessible in recent years. The opening of new superyacht marinas and updated regulations that accommodate visiting yachts have transformed Thailand into Asia’s premier superyacht hub, attracting luxury vessels from around the world.
Of over 1400 islands, Phuket is probably the most well-known. It is a picture-perfect island in the Andaman Sea and oftentimes called the “Pearl of Thailand.” The beaches of Kata Noi and Karon are famous for being serene and calm, ideal for lounging and relaxing. At the same time, Surin and Freedom Beaches offer the best sites for an underwater adventure. The luxurious islands of Racha and Ha offer an exclusive hideaway ideal for diving, snorkelling, or simply basking under the golden sun.
South of Phuket are the Krabi and Koh Phi Phi archipelagos, famed diving and mountain climbing spots perfect for exhilarating adventures. After strenuous activity, Krabi is also home to natural hot springs, ideal for relaxation. Meanwhile, in the Gulf of Thailand lies a lesser-known yet stunning gem, the Koh Chang archipelago. With over 50 islands, it is the perfect place for a secluded yachting adventure away from the crowd.

When?
Like all Southeast Asian countries, the best time to visit Thailand is during its dry season, from November to April. However, since it is also the peak season, we advise to book a charter in late October or early May, to experience the best of Thailand with fewer crowds.
