Panama: An epicenter of biodiversity, culture, and coastlines

Panama is a charter destination offering its tropical beauty, located between North and South America. With its rich culture, diverse activities, and attractions, Panama is perfect for people seeking adventure and relaxation amid breathtaking sceneries.

Panama offers multiple UNESCO World Heritage sites, from natural to cultural. Their most iconic Panama Viejo, located in Panama City, showcases the rich history and pre-Columbian remains and is a must-see for picture-taking. Close to Portobelo in San Lorenzo, visitors might see the Caribbean Coast in all its glory and fortifications. Next are reserve parks such as the La Amistad National Park and Coiba National Park near Costa Rica and Chiriqui, designated national species reserves and marine life protection zones. Lastly, the Darien National Park is located near and showcases sandy beaches, mangroves, and swamps. It serves as a natural bridge between North and South America.

Panama offers two major marinas that welcome yachts of all sizes. On the Caribbean Coast, visitors can access Bocas Town, where they can enjoy local cuisine and shop for souvenirs. This area also provides opportunities to explore the San Blas Archipelago, Starfish Beach, and Red Frog Beach. Guests can kayak through mangrove forests, snorkel around vibrant reefs, and visit the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge while exploring the surrounding islands.

On the Pacific Coast, visitors can explore Panama City, the capital of Panama. They can also discover the Gulf of Chiriquí, Playa Blanca, Playa Venao, and El Palmar Beach. Whichever marina guests choose, they will be greeted with various options to enhance their experiences and enrich their chartering journeys.

Being between North and South America, Panama has adapted to a modern lifestyle, including attractions and major cities; visitors are more than welcome to admire and enjoy their yachting journey in Panama. Colón City boasts its rich historic architecture, home of the Fort San Lorenzo, and allows visitors clear access to the Panama Canal.

As the capital of Panama, Panama City not only features UNESCO World Heritage sites but also boasts the Amador Causeway, which offers stunning views of both the ocean and the city—making it an excellent spot for enjoying the nightlife and taking photos. Additionally, Panama City is home to the Biomuseo, which showcases the natural history of Panama through exhibits on its wildlife and prehistoric animals, making it an excellent destination for animal lovers.

Panama is home to many beaches. The Taboga Island beach is known as the “Island of Flowers”; this beach offers clear water and beautiful tropical plant life, which is great for those who prefer a laid-back experience. Next is Playa Santa Clara Beach, with huge waves and soft white sands, an excellent choice for surfers and those looking for relaxation. A visit to Red Frog Beach will welcome you to its golden sands and beautiful views, amazing for fishing, snorkeling, and swimming. Lastly, the Colón beach is fantastic for watersports, hiking near waterfalls, taking pictures, kayaking, and boat tours.
